An Edwardian mahogany chiming mantel clock, with arched silvered dial and architectural case, triple fusee movement signed JL Elliott, Fenchurch Street, London, stamped 1151, 19in.

Case of good rich reddish mahogany colour, two prominent splits running from front to back at the top of the case, small chipping and denting around the top left edge and keyhole of the front door, dial a little oxidised but retains original finish, crevices and cavities of the clock all with a sort of whiteish dusty powder within them which does rub away, typical slight inward pressing to the brass grille of the back door, red fabric looks later, movement in very good clean condition, comes with pendulum and three winding keys, movement going but not tested for timekeeping.
