An Edwardian gold and silver, diamond and cultured? pearl drop necklace, with bug motif and set with three pearls and old cut diamonds, in original fitted box, pendant section 42mm.

Three of the rose cut diamonds around the pearl within the oval each have a small crack to the edge of the table facet. One of the stones is chipped within the "left wing" of the bug motif. The bottom pearl appears tp have a small crevice on the very top which is filled with dirt?? The middle pearl is slightly baroque in shape near the top. Setting showing some slight wear in places, commensurate with age and use. Chain in good order. The lid of the original box has come loose (broken) from the base but is still connected by the silk.
