Lot 209 , An Edwardian copper and brass adjustable standard lamp, 63in.
An Edwardian copper and brass adjustable standard lamp, with single scrolling branch, with green tinted crimped glass shade, 63in.
Estimate £150-250
Overall in good original condition, the telescopic adjustment makes it easy to raise the height but harder to reduce it, there is a later black screw added to stop it dropping down too low, the lamp has been re-wired relatively recently, fitted for the shade may well be a later addition and the shade itself although looking appropriate is almost certainly a later one, the shade is moulded glass but looks appropriate.
