Case has a full-depth split, now repaired and partially-filled with dark wax; with original key. Paints largely used and damaged; other contents matched, used and incomplete. Inset brass label to top may have been dated and personalised later - this supplier operated from this address between 1862 and 1881. The gold lettering to the interior of the lid is good condition, as per the online images.
