An Austrian cold painted door knocker modelled as a running hare, with oak mount, overall length 30cm, width 14cm, length of hare 25cm Condition: Original paintwork is now rather dirty with some small chips and losses, the pivoting pin that connects the hare to the base is missing so the hare is loose, original oak base a little scuffed and grubby with small chipping to the corners, there is a hanging mount at one end to the underside that does suggest that this was made to be hung than set.
