Condition:
The diamond is approximately J-K colour, VS clarity, faint to nil fluorescence, measuring approximately 6.80 x 6.30 x 4.09mm. The sapphire measures approximately 6.7 x 6.4 x 3.48mm, is estimated to weigh approximately 1.40 carats. The sapphire is a rich, deep blue, excellent saturation and consistency through stone. Fine hexagonal banded zoning visible in stone under magnification. One surface-reaching fissure to one corner of sapphire on crown facets, not obvious to naked eye - this feather goes through a corner of the stone but the surface-reaching portion is only to the top of the stone and does not appear to reach the sides or pavilion of the stone as far as can be seen in the mount. Beautifully made ring in good condition, minor wear.
