An Art Deco figured walnut pedestal desk. with two doors enclosing fitted drawers, and matching desk chair, W.4ft 5in. D.2ft 7in. H.2ft 6in.

Brown leather skiver with a few light surface marks, looks to be old and possibly is the original, main body of the desk of an even mid brown walnut colour with good figuring, slight water splash marks to the left hand door, which also shows slight fading, internally lined with oak drawers, original lock comes with a key, desk drawer contains quantity of French paperwork and correspondence for the National Professional School including a bill listing expenses for tinned chestnuts and sardines. Chair has lost one small section of veneer from its top rail and shows slight fading to the left side but overall is in good order, caning is in good condition.
