£10,000-15,000
Condition:
An unusually austere and pared down step-cut with relatively few facets - a large table and very large pavilion facets giving dramatic flashes of light and excellent rainbows in sunlight. Draws a bit of colour, estimated colour M+ (S-T stated in EDR report), estimated clarity VS2 (small cloud of crystals towards girdle, not obvious, tiny chip to one crown facet, again barely visible, VS stated in EDR report), faint to medium blue fluorescence. Stated measurements in report are accurate, but using standard formulae the weight is calculated at approximately 6.50 carats (6.38-7.20) rather than 7.50 as stated in report. Mount in good condition.
