An 18th century and later Dutch walnut ebonised and marquetry inlaid collector's cabinet on stand, the upper section with brass three quarter gallery and architectural design, an arrangement of twenty four assorted drawers, two doors and two sliding compartments, decorated with wrigglework moulding and scrollwork marquetry, the base with slide and two doors enclosing compartmented interior over a plinth foot, 126cm wide, 40cm deep, 159cm high

Condition:
Overall in fair to good condition, ebonising is now matted and faded in many places and marquetry now bleached or dirt smeared but certainly changed in tone, brass three quarter gallery is oxidised, arrangement of drawers is a central deep drawer over the main arch, a further drawer at the top of the recess flanked by two drawers and two deep cupboards, all above five base drawers. Small chips and losses throughout but overall very complete, handles look original, locks look original with two keys present, base with fair wear and rubbing, central panels to the doors now rather bleached, lock looks original and has the original work key, scuffed around the plinth.
