An 18th century Scottish basket hilted backsword, marked GRDRUR, with 32 inch straight single edge blade

The mark on the blade is a crown over GR for George Rex underneath the makers name Drury, blade and guard are pitted, most notably towards the last third of the blade, the guard is quite thinly made, the fish skin grip is worn with sections missing at various points.
