An 18th century Scottish backsword, with 33 inch single edge blade, with double fullers leathers covered grip and traditional basket hilt

Overall there is light pitting and there is some active red surface rust, there are no evident breaks or repairs to the guard, the grip has been replaced with leather but not recently.
