An 18th century Portuguese Colonial rosewood centre table, with gadroon rectangular top over two cushion drawers, on turned and spiralled twist underframe with pad feet, W.103cm D.63cm H.80cm

Condition:
Overall of a slightly dull darkish brown tone, the top has seen numerous water splashes and other wear over the years and has a join in the separation of the timbers showing a third in from the front as well as one split running from the right hand side, underframe of a darker tone, drawers both with some small losses to the edge mouldings, with original brass escutcheons, one slightly bent forward and original locks but no key, turning to the underframe with some old knocks and dents, one section at the top of a leg is loose but present in the drawer, sides and back both have simulated drawer fronts.
