An 18th century Meissen figure of a girl playing a zither and a 19th century Meissen figure of a girl playing a zither, 12cm and 12.4cm
Condition: 18th century figure with typical small losses to the flower garland across her shoulder and around her waist, restoration to her left arm, wrist and hand, and her left toes, there are tiny losses to the raised parts on the end of the zither, impressed mark only 23, otherwise in reasonable condition. The 19th century figure in good condition with no restoration chips or cracks detected, incised model number 2259 and the underglaze blue crossed swords mark is very feint.
