An 18th century German olivewood veneered commode with parquetry top and three long drawers fitted ormolu mounts, on squared legs, W.4ft 2in. D.2ft H.2ft 10in.

Fair mid brown colour but faded to the top with old splits and other small damages. Brasswork loks original. No key. Old worm holes to the sides and less so to the drawer fronts. Old splirts to the sides. Numerous small old repairs and patches to the edges of the drawer fronts and to the divisions between the drawers.
