An 18th century German 'Armada' chest, with ornate locking mechanism, the front painted with jousting lancers W.2ft 5in. D.1ft 4in. H.1ft 2in.

Overall looks to be in good useable condition, much of the original paintwork has been worn away, the traces of decoration to the front look to be original, key looks original and locking mechanism works, key has to be in the lock to open the lid, lock cover plate is no longer present, there is a small internal compartment with a sprung latch, please see our additional photographs.
