An 18th century French carved ivory Dieppe figural chess set, complete with thirty two pieces, with red stained opposing natural ivory, with 3 inch kings, in a mahogany case

There are some differences between some of the baluster turned pedestal columns, one of the pawns has a repair around the circular base, very minor losses and minor areas of staining in places. The red stained pieces also with a few very minor losses, two of the pawns possibly have replaced circular bases, there are one or two minor stress cracks, the queen has probably been restored around the neck but it has been done very well and is hard to spot. Overall generally reasonable condition.
