Lot 493 , An 1854 Indian General Service Medal with Pegu clasp

An 1854 Indian General Service Medal with Pegu clasp glass cased and gilt.

Not clear whether this is a specimen or named as we cannot remove the glazing. Looks to be a specimen - very crisp but with some reddish discolouration to both sides of the gilt medal. The clasp, suspension and outer ring are all oxidised silver. Ribbon worn.
