Difficult to date but in my opinion a fairly recent 20th century work made to look older. In many respects it's too good to be true.
Paint looks like it has been laid over an older panel. There is some dirt to the finish. Overall quality is good.
The period maple frame has old cracks and damages and has been refinished.
