This is oil paint on West's Real Canvas Boards which essentially is an artist board with the surface prepared to simulate canvas, image with blacksmith has one very fine hairline scratch running diagonally across the work that can only been seen at certain angles, other image has very slight central outward bulge but essentially both in good condition, both signed, both clean and both in matching later gilt frames
