Oil on canvas cleaned relined and restored 20 - 30 years ago, canvas remains tight although the paint does look a little off colour and would benefit from a good clean, in particular the clouds have a very yellowish tone which I suspect is discolouration in the varnish, a little fine but stable craquelure scattered throughout, signed and dated lower left and housed in a later gilt scroll frame which is now in very tatty condition and really needs replacing.
