Oil on canvas relined 10 - 20 years ago, canvas now with a very slight sag and paint is rather dirty with two white spots towards the lower left corner and some very small tiny flakes of paint missing near this along with further small areas of paint loss in the lower right corner and one or two other tiny specks elsewhere, not much sign of craquelure, perhaps has been a little overcleaned in the past, some fine lines showing in Cupid's upper arm but little elsewhere, in an old gilt gesso frame which is now rather tatty.
