This is a late 20th century copy, the casting is reasonable but not fine, overall of a dull chocolate brown patination but raised sections such as the top of his hat and back of the horse have been polished to a light golden tone, white paint or dirt marks are scattered around the head of the fox and other crevices, on a black marble plinth.
