Condition:
A light craquelure to canvas throughout, most visible at site of deceased. Canvas reverse with three rectangular patches applied to conceal damage, the damage not easily seen at front although a careful inspection shows a 15mm repair to a former right-angled tear at centre. Frame with two sections to centre moulded detail detached but retained; otherwise fair. Provenance unknown. Age circa mid-19th century.
