Oil on canvas with some canvas re-strengthening particularly around the edges some years ago and a few patches to the back of the original canvas notably around 12 and 1 o'clock and scattered around the margins particularly between 6 and 9 o'clock, see image of reverse to spot the small square patches, otherwise canvas is a little saggy with fine but stable craquelure throughout, some small signs of retouching, housed in a later moulded gilt frame.
