Condition:
Oil on original canvas in honest untouched condition, paint rather dirty with stretcher marks showing and slightly patchy varnish, a broad but stable craquelure in the paint, housed in a later but old moulded gilt frame which has a few losses, Bourlet label verso with title St Simon and the artist given as Mrs Druie Bowett, small newspaper extract regarding the horse.
