Oil on canvas relined many years ago, paint with a slightly dull finish and would benefit from a clean, possibly signs of retouching to the right of the Christ child, housed in an ornate 19th century gilt gesso scroll frame which has been overpainted, old hand inscribed label verso saying Mrs Cockrell No.1.
