Oil on canvas in good condition, possibly in need of a light clean, indistinct signature in the lower right corner, old handwritten label on the stretcher giving the title 'Gulfo di Pozzuoli, Southern Italy Bay of Naples' (bought 1892 by Mr E J Victel from Italian Ambassador and given to CB at Warley, in addition 1956 Stacy Marks label giving the artist as Jolail and 1965 Stacy Marks label after cleaning.
