A vintage Karuselli black leather lounge chair, designed by Yrjo Kukkapuro, with cream enamelled underframe, with original Habitat bill of receipt for 12th February 1972 for the sum of £120 W.2ft 6in. H.2ft 10in.

Fair wear and tear to the black leather which is slightly faded, most notably in the seat where bottoms have rubbed against it, but overall giving an appearance of originality and commensurate use to age. Stitching at the front, seams of boths arm starting to come away again where one would expect hands to rest and to pull someone up out of the chair, the white underframe with a creamish tone to the underside of the seat but white to the base plinth, chrome U shape support in good order, overall very good original condition.
