A unusual Chinese doucai scribe's box, Qing dynasty, painted with lotus flowers and scrolling leaves and tendrils, to the cover and sides, 18cm long

Typical minor glaze imperfections. Some fritting and tiny glaze losses to the edge of the cover. Remnants of ink and red seal paste to the unglazed edges, spur mark to glaze on the underside, otherwise in good condition.
