A tall Chinese blue and white waisted cylindrical jar and cover, Kangxi period, painted with shaped panels of ribbon tied objects, a lady in a garden interspersed by floral sprays, flowerhead and scroll borders, the base with ribbon tied feather mark, height 38cm

Provenance: UK private collection; purchased from specialist dealers and auctions in the 1950s and 1960s.

The jar is in good condition with typical minor glaze imperfections, slightly mis-shapen area to the foot but essentially stands flat on a surface, the cover has a few minute splinter chips on the inside of the unglazed rim, the jar and cover have red painted collection numbers to them which are removeable.
