A small Japanese Satsuma koro and cover, signed Suizan, Meiji period, finely painted with oshidori (Mandarin ducks) on scrolling water ripples, on three tapering feet, they domed cover decorated with Hoo birds, surmounted by a bud-shaped finial, the base with gilt two character mark ‘Suizan’ and two red seal marks ‘Sui Zan’, diameter 8cm
