A small Chinese gilt bronze figure of a Daoist deity possibly Yuanshi Tianzun, Tang dynasty (AD 618-907), holding a scroll and a block inscribed Tian (sky) in each hand, standing on a double lotus stand, the rectangular base with four curved legs, h. 11cm

Yuanshi Tianzun is The Primeval Lord of Heaven.
Compare a similar figure from the Sakamoto Goro collection sold by Sotheby's, Hong Kong, 5th October 2016, lot 3220.

It is possible that the figure has three replacement legs to the base but these have been expertly toned into match, some wear to the gilding with a toned down dark brown colour to the exposed bronze with tiny bit of verdigris around the next otherwise in good condition.
