A silver mounted tortoiseshell boudoir timepiece, William Comyns, London 1907, the single train spring barrel movement with lever platform escapement, together with the original velvet lined leather case, height 9.5cm

The case is a little dry and would benefit from polishing , the silver is tarnished but otherwise in good condition, the dial and hands are in good condition apart from the retailer's signature is very worn and no longer legible. The movement does not currently function, it is likely to be do with the lever platform escapement and will require work, the hands move freely when wound on and the main screen can be wound, the outer leather carrying case, the surface finish is worn and dirty and there are some small losses to the extremities of the corners, the satin interior is stained and a little worn.
