Lot 104 , A set of twelve Meissen plates, late 19th century, diameter 24cm

A set of twelve Meissen plates, late 19th century, diameter 24cm

A set of twelve Meissen plates, late 19th century, each painted with a floral bouquet, within gilt pierced borders, underglaze blue crossed swords mark some with incised line, incised and impressed marks, diameter 24cm
Estimate £500-700

All of the plates have some wear to the gilding around the edge and border, one of the plates has a slightly different colour palette to the others more of a pastel tone and slightly more precisely painted and by coincidence this plate also has an incised line through the underglaze blue crossed swords mark where the others do not and one of the plates has a shallow splinter chip to the inside of the foot, otherwise in good condition.
