A set of three Regency cut glass decanters, engraved by W. Herbert, circa 1828-33,
each with hobnail cut hollow ovoid stopper with heraldic gauntlet over crown wheel engraved to top, the body with fan cut spout over a step cut neck, each hobnail cut body with central panel wheel engraved with riding scenes titled 'THE FIELD', 'THE ROAD' (two of this variant, these two signed and dated 1828 and 1833 - this second one with hoop handle), over a star cut circular foot, the one with handle 29cm high, the pair without 28.5cm high, along with two south Staffordshire enamel bottle labels for 'BEAUNE' and 'CLARET'

Condition:
Please note, those without handles would have originally had these, though have been damaged and refinished. Engraving possibly late 19th century. Wear as per use and age. That titled the field without handle, possible buffed chips to rim. The other without a handle with possible chip to rear rim. That with handle has been restored to handle. Minor nibble to rim. Further minor nibbles and scratches as per use and age.
