A set of six mid 19th century Anglo Indian carved padouk elbow chairs, with lions head carved arm terminals and cabriole legs with scroll feet, W.2ft H.3ft 1in.

All of the chairs with some degree of fading to the woodwork particularly the upper sections, handle terminals and legs generally in a darker tone, some old repairs to joints particularly wear arms meet the backs, and in some instances patching and old repairs are showing, further cracking and splitting to the backs, in the main where the join is left and right level with the top of the padding, carving looks all to be in good condition, chairs are upholstered in rexine not leather, all of the chairs have some degrees of wobble and shake due to loose joints varying from not very wobbly at all to really quite shaky.
