A set of four George III silver sauceboats by Thomas Shepherd, with cut cusped borders, engraved armorial and flying scroll handles, on hoof feet, London, 1778, height 4.5in, 27.5 oz.

Possible old repair to the handle where it joins the rim of the main body?? The engraved armorial is a little tired on two of the boats. Apart from some minor nicks etc. commensurate with age, the overall condition is good. Hallmarks clear, though with some faint rubbing.
