A set of five Chinese pigment painted pottery standing figures of musicians, Han dynasty or later, Provenance- the owner bought items from specialist Chinese antiques dealers while living in Hong Kong in the 1980s -1990s. 15–22cm high

Condition:
All of the figures are encrusted with earth and have dust and flaking pigment to the surface. It is likely that all four of the tall figures have been broken at the waist and repaired with some earth or pigment put over the area to disguise this. All lacking instruments, otherwise in reasonable condition.
