A sapphire and diamond ring, early 19th century, collet-set with a circular-cut sapphire within a border of cushion-shaped diamonds totalling approximately 0.70 carats, to openwork foliate shoulders, mounted in silver and gold, size P1/2

Condition:
Nice example in good condition. Sapphire setting is open at the back - this appears original to the piece. One prong to one side of ring band possibly later reattached, but band appears original to piece. Overall minor wear, some minor discoloration to metal, overall in good condition.
