Accompanied by report no. 25874 from the Gem & Pearl laboratory, stating that the sapphire is of Basaltic origin ('Geological occurence common to Thailand, Australia, East Africa etc'), with no indications of heat treatment

Condition:
Very attractive sapphire, good colour and clarity, measuring 9.4 x 8.2 x 6.1mm. Chip to pavillion on one side - not particularly severe or noticeable, does not really impact the shape of the stone. Mounted in white gold or platinum, but unmarked so not possible to determine which. Overall in good condition, gross weight approximately 5 grams.
