Inkstand base has some slight wear to the gilding and minor scratching to the glaze otherwise good. One side of the base has some firing cracks and a section which has probably been broken, restuck and restore.
The cover has some general crazing to the glaze all over.
Virtually all of the cobalt blue area has been resprayed and the restoration itself is more obvious underneath where the old restoration has discoloured.
