A rare Minton sixty piece Chinese rockwork garden pattern tea and coffee service, c.1805, PLEASE NOTE THE COFFEE CUPS AND A NUMBER OF THE TEA CUPS ARE BOUGHT IN MACHIN FACTORY SHAPES DECORATED AT MINTON, each piece painted in imitation of Chinese famille rose enamels with flowers and rockwork in a garden, gilt borders, inscribed pattern no.N104, teapot 26cm across, some damage

All items with occasional minor scratching to the glaze and some black speckling in the firing
The set comprises the following
teapot and cover which is badly cracked at the front and with a heavily broken and restored spout, the teapot stand is broken and rivet repaired
Sucrier and cover in good condition
Milk jug is cracked around the base on one side
slop basin in good condition
there are two graduated large saucer dishes both are heavily crazed as they do not ring
23 saucers of which 9 have fine crazing and do not ring, the others good
11 coffee cans of which 3 are cracked, others good
17 bute shaped teacups of which 5 are either heavily crazed or cracked.
The lot comes with paperwork stating that a trio from this set is on loan to Leicestershire Museum and Arts Gallery - this has been made a permanent loan and is not included in the lot
