A rare Japanese Arita or Chinese porcelain model of a shoe, based on a Delft shape, first half of 18th century, decorated in blue and iron red enamels with flower heads, leaves and scrolling tendrils, 18cm, minor faults

Condition:
Typical minor glaze imperfections. Several losses to blue enamel. Several shallow chips to edges, particularly to the upper back edge. Another two small, shallow chips to ‘toe’ corners. A firing crack visible to underside of heel.
