A rare Chinese yellow and russet jade figure of a boy holding a parrot, 18th/19th century, standing on one leg holding the parrot by a cord, 5.6cm high, wood stand

Condition:
Provenance - the former owner collected jades and snuff bottles in the 1960s and early 1970s while living and working in Hong Kong. Some slight abrasion to the russet edges of the carving and a few white surface inclusions down the back of his right arm, otherwise in good condition.
