A rare Chinese archaistic bamboo model of a tripod ritual vessel, He, 18th century, the oval section body carved in low relief with a band of taotie masks, applied with a zoomorphic spout, on three cabriole feet, suspended from a chain and right-angled 'chime', 30cm high to top of chime, 22cm long

Please note the handle, chime and chain appear to be original but are carved from wood. Large open split to the back and the neck of the vessel. Handle a little loose. Spout and base panel broken and re-glued. Chain work broken on one side and with a later metal fixing.
