Lot 370 , A pair of lead garden urns, W.1ft 6in. H.2ft 5in.
A pair of lead garden urns, each modelled as a basket supported by four maidens on scallop shell feet, W.1ft 6in. H.2ft 5in.
Estimate £500-800
Please note that these urns are made from lead, not bronze. One urn shows a little, slight bending out of shape around rim of bowl and small piths from casting. 4 holes have been drilled from the base of the bowl. Stem shows a green patination from weathering. Base looks good. Other urn is bent out of shape, tilting down towards the left and will need bending back into place. Slightly bent out of shape at rim with matching drill holes. Overall should restore to good affect.
