A pair of large Japanese ginbari cloisonne enamel bottle vases, c.1910, each decorated in silver wirework with raised irises and other flowers on a green, silver and blue graduated ground, impressed maker's mark to base, together with original pine packing cases labelled for a Mrs Partington, vases H.61.5cm, some cracks to enamel

Both vases have extensive black stained cracks to the enamel on the necks,Some occasional grey discoloring to the foil ground and some cracking to the enamel above the foot. One of The vases has some slight splintering to the enamel just above the foot as well. The second vase also has a small splinter chip just above the flower decoration on one side. One of the original boxes has a loose panel to the cover and the second box is missing the hinged section to one clasp.
