A pair of large Japanese bronze and mixed metal bottle vases, Meiji period, decorated with birds and flowers, the necks with bats and interlaced tendrils, unsigned H. 39.5cm

The silver and copper inlay is tarnished. There is spotting to the patina in small areas all over and some occasional scuffing most evident around the bulbous body. Occasional tiny nicks and two small 'flat' dents to one neck. Wear to foot consistent with age and use and also some minute nicks to the edge of the foot
