A pair of large Chinese Canton-decorated famille rose two handled baluster vases, late 19th century, each painted with an emperor and attendant figures in an interior to each side on a flower, fruit and bird ground, the handles modelled as lingzhi fungus, height 60.5cm

Rims were one gilt but almost of this gilding is now rubbed away, one with firing flaw that runs down inside the neck and looks to have been filled, this is not visible on the outside however, otherwise a few losses to some of the enamels, please note these are thought not to be late 19th but in fact 20th century.
