A pair of early 19th century silver and tortoiseshell lorgnette spectacles, housed in a shagreen case and a later shagreen cased compact

- spectacles in good order, not marked, tortoiseshell equally good, lid of the case comes away from the main body and the shagreen part of the lid comes away from the rim but all parts look to be present albeit with some small losses to the shagreen, spectacles 10.5cm, case 13cm
- compact a little rubbed around the edges but otherwise good, 9cm, comes with original calf skin pouch
